The fact that it is a newer thread is immaterial, since no resolution was found there, and I see no likelihood that adding the subject of this thread to it will result in a resolution not arrived at previously. Development has ceased on EW, and there will be no more I will point out that if the problem is within EW, you won't get a fix other than to make sure you are using the latest version (which is not EW4 SP2, but the free and final EW4 version). I even tried a different user profile on the same machine. If you do have the final version, you may be out of luck regarding using sftp in EW.
